The first and foremost thing before developing a product is to understand the requirements.
What do clients need?
What is the client’s perspective and how this is going to grow the client’s business?
After requirements gathering, I discuss with clients if there is any input from me or new ideas to make the product more efficient.
Planning is a very important part of doing anything. Or you might need to rework, waste time or develop an unstable product.
So, planning plays an important role to develop any product.
You also need to analysis about the product need, user friendliness, props and cons and what could be the drawback of developing the product in a specific way . You must analyses the methodology and technology you want to use for developing the product for productions.
After planning and analyses, I’ll do the wireframing for the products which help to explore some new ideas for the clients of course before I do any changes or suggestions I’ll definitely discuss that and take approval from the client.
It also helps to skip the cost fo mockup and prototyping.
Before jump into any development, I will approve the products according to the client’s preference.
- Includes the design of applications, networks, databases, user interfaces, and system interfaces.
- Transform the SRS document into a logical structure, which contains a detailed and complete set of specifications that can be implemented in a programming language.
- Review the proposed design. Ensure that the final design must meet the requirements stated in SRS document.
Testing is a very important part of developing a product.
Combine all the modules together into a training environment that detects errors and defects.
Alpha, beta, white-box & black box testing is must things for a product before the deployment.
- After all the testing passed then I will go for the deployment of the product.
Include all the activities such as phone support or physical on-site support for users that are required once the system is installed.
Implement the changes that software might undergo over a period of time, or implement any new requirements after the software is deployed at the customer location.
It also includes handling the residual errors and resolving any issues that may exist in the system even after the testing phase.
Maintenance and support may be needed for a longer time for large systems and for a short time for smaller systems.
